Face Framing by Stylist Jamie Nguyen

Should You Get Face Framing?

Face framing is a method that hairdressers can use to enhance certain facial features or minimize features that people may not feel so confident about. One method to frame a client’s face is to give the client angles. Putting angles and layers into a client’s hair gives her locks extra body. This style is one that anyone can own and will give any client a more modern and updated look!

Bangs are trendy but how do you get face frame with bangs? Bangs can range from long and wispy, to side swept or short; and depending on the client’s face shape. Also, known as curtain bangs, face-framing bangs are a hairstyle that usually brushes against your cheekbones, opening from the center of a middle part towards the edge of your face. Some people keep it at a classic length, while some others grow their curtain bangs longer. Curtain bangs and face-framing layers are a flattering hairstyle for most people, however they are not recommended for all face-shapes.
