Summer 2021 (Fashion) Color Trends by Melissa Bustamante

Well, color me PINK!

From London to Florence, Milan, Paris and New York, September is the hottest month for the upcoming Spring/Summer fashion reveal. This past September, because of the pandemic, things were a bit different and shows were viewed on digital media and in person, despite these limitations the runways didn’t stop and the shows went on!!  Unsurprisingly, “Optimism” is the word that is being portrayed through color trends for summer 2021!

Clothing and color is a form of expression, a way to lose restrictions and liberate oneself from repetition and routine! Colors can represent emotions, they can lift our moods and give us confidence. Each color serves as an aura, and who doesn’t think of russet and crimson when it comes to autumn! Colors relay to us seasons and power and even personality temperament and it seems that the designers are trying to both foster energy and express their desire to return to normal.

Here at Salon Sanity, boutique and salon Company, we too had the desire to return to normal. We have taken all the right steps to get back to seeing and serving our guest. We take pride in ensuring our guest have the very best experience from the moment they walk in the door. That means having the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of our clientele.  This month we went to market and sought to find what we most hear you ask for and while we were there we picked up apparel representing the hottest colors making their way this summer!  Along with sophisticated and timeless pieces.

When you think “Girls run the world” you think Queen B, but this summer when you think “pink” know that all of the pinks from muted to bright are taking over from clothing to jewelry and even architecture.  Bubble Gum Pink, is the hottest color of the season and that’s not all there are actually several contenders that are fighting to be the leader from pastel yellow, lavender, aqua blues and tropical greens, as well as, sparkles and sequins!  All of them are making their way to the front of the line. We have already begun to display some of our new arm, ear and neck candy. Clothes are arriving weekly! We are so excited to be bringing in brands such as Taylor Shaye Designs, Adrienne and Cello Jeans to mention a few. 2021 fashion trends are looking like a lot of fun.
